Terms of Service

1.Acceptance

  • Government officers with a valid invite code only
  • 18+ only, Indian government employment (or authorized agency)
  • By using Avekshan you agree to this Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy

2.The Service

Avekshan is an invite-only inspection tool for government officers. It helps you document field visits, not replace your legal authority.

  • Structured inspections for seven departments: FSSAI, FDCA, Labour, GPCB, PWD, Revenue, and SMC Health
  • Voice notes in Hindi or English, transcribed using secure language services
  • Photo evidence linked to each inspection
  • Automated violation suggestions with act references (you must verify before submit):
    • FSSAI: FSSA 2006 Sections 48–67
    • FDCA: Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940
    • Labour: Factories Act 1948 + Minimum Wages Act
    • GPCB: Water Act 1974, Air Act 1981, EPA 1986
    • PWD: CPWD Manual, GFR 2017
    • Revenue: Gujarat Land Revenue Code 1879
    • SMC Health: GPMC Act 1949
  • Department-specific PDF reports
  • Email of completed reports to your configured senior officer
  • Dashboard, inspection list, and reports view

3.Your Account

  • One account per officer
  • Invite code required (where applicable)
  • Keep credentials confidential
  • Report unauthorized access to support@avekshan.in

4.Officer Access

Only invited officers may use Avekshan. Complete profile setup with your official @gov.in or departmental email, accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, then verify your invite code before signing in with email OTP.

Avekshan has no active government contracts or departmental agreements as of the date of these Terms. Avekshan is a private productivity tool, not a government-mandated system.

5.Acceptable Use

You may use Avekshan for:

  • Official government inspection duties only
  • Generate and submit inspection reports
  • Export your inspection records

You may not:

  • Share credentials or allow others to use your account
  • Use the service for non-official purposes
  • Access other officers' data without authorization
  • Submit false inspection information
  • Use automated bots to scrape or overload the service

6.Inspection Reports & Officer Responsibility

You remain legally responsible for all inspection decisions and reports.

Avekshan is a documentation productivity tool. It does not replace your professional judgment, regulatory authority, or official duties. Automated violation suggestions must be verified by you before submission.

Avekshan is not a government portal and is not affiliated with any government department.

Officer verification: Violation suggestions from automated analysis must be reviewed and confirmed by the inspecting officer before being included in any official report or action. Avekshan output is a productivity aid, not a legal determination.

7.Intellectual Property

  • Code, design, and platform features belong to Avekshan
  • Your inspection data belongs to you / your department
  • Feedback may be used to improve the service

8.Service Availability

  • Target uptime: 99.5%
  • Not liable for internet outages or government network blocks
  • Maintenance windows communicated in advance when feasible

9.Limitation of Liability

  • Avekshan is provided to invited officers without subscription fees; liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law
  • Not liable for regulatory outcomes based on reports
  • Not liable for force majeure events beyond control

10.Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity or abuse
  • Revoked or expired invite access

After termination you cannot sign in. Inspections you already submitted may still appear in the database until your department or support arranges removal — see the Privacy Policy.

11.Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in India have jurisdiction. For matters arising in Gujarat, courts in Surat, Gujarat shall have primary jurisdiction. This includes the Indian Contract Act 1872, IT Act 2000, and DPDP Act 2023.

12.Geographic Scope

Avekshan is currently operational for government officers across India. The platform is designed to scale across all Indian states and union territories without requiring changes to these Terms.

Officers from any Indian state or department listed in Section 2 may use Avekshan subject to these Terms. State-specific regulatory requirements remain the officer's responsibility.

13.Changes

We will provide 30 days email notice before material changes to these terms.
